Senior Art Director at DDB Health

Nicholas Tejada has a diverse range of work experience in the field of design. Nicholas currently serves as a Senior Art Director at DDB Health starting in November 2021. Before that, they worked at Evoke Mind+Matter, where they held the roles of Art Director from April 2020 to November 2021 and Junior Art Director from January 2020 to March 2020.

Nicholas also has experience as a Graphic Designer at RALLY: a communications firm from September 2019 to January 2020, where they created social and marketing assets for political candidates in California.

Additionally, Nicholas worked as a Designer at Meraki Africa in November 2019, where they designed the cover art for Kwamz & Flava's single "GAFRO" while collaborating with the Meraki Africa team.

Nicholas also had freelance design experiences, including working as a Freelance Designer at Girls for Gender Equity in October and November 2019, where they completed the design and branding for the project launch of "A National Agenda for Black Girls". Nicholas maintained communication with the team remotely and created branding/logo designs, social and email templates.

Furthermore, Nicholas served as a Contract UI & Graphic Designer at IO Holdings from January to November 2019, where they designed and updated digital and print assets for the health supplement brand Vitauthority.

Prior to that, Nicholas had various roles at The Soze Agency, including Contract Graphic Designer, Partner, and Associate Partner, from February 2019 to September 2019. Nicholas created social media graphics, art directed events, and engaged in ongoing freelance work with the agency.

Nicholas also worked as a Contract UI Designer at QWASI Technology & Innovation Labs from February to June 2019, managing UI aspects for a UK-based landlord and tenant marketing site. Nicholas collaborated with the client, project manager, and developer to meet project deliverables and update the branding.

Furthermore, Nicholas held the role of a Contract Graphic Designer at Cardinal Designs from January to June 2019, where they presented logo and branding mockups for an e-commerce brand and conceptualized wireframes for future web development.

Lastly, they briefly worked as a Contract Designer at QWASI Technology & Innovation Labs from June to July 2017.

Nicholas Tejada obtained their Bachelor's degree in Advertising from the University of San Francisco between 2011 and 2015. In 2016, they attended General Assembly and pursued studies in User Experience Design, but did not earn a degree.
