Mette Mikkelsen

Mette Mikkelsen serves as a member of the project support committee for craft and design at Statens Kunstfond and as a member of the Danish Design Council. Mette is the designer and founder of 56NB.dk and an associate partner at the Service Design Institute, collaborating on tailored solutions in service design. Mette holds the position of honorary professor at Designskolen Kolding, where Mette previously served as Prorector and Head of Development. Mette has extensive experience as a project manager for EU-funded programs, focusing on electric vehicle implementation in Denmark, and has worked in various design capacities within the textile and furniture industries, emphasizing management through design. Education includes a Master in Design from KADK and a degree from Wharton, along with multiple honorary professorships at Designskolen Kolding.
