Shuichi Ihara

Shuichi Ihara has a strong background in performance engineering, Lustre development, and high-performance file systems. Shuichi began their career as a Consultant and System Engineer at Sun Microsystems in 2001, and then moved on to roles such as System Engineer, HPC Engineer, and Lustre Engineer. At Sun Microsystems, they designed and developed the Sun HPC software stack, including Lustre. In 2010, they joined DDN Storage as a Senior Systems Engineer, where they designed over 100PB storage system solutions and worked on parallel file systems for HPC systems as well as large NAS/Cloud solutions for enterprise customers. Shuichi later took on roles as the Manager of Lustre Development and the Performance Engineering Manager.

Shuichi Ihara pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science, specializing in Internet (TCP/IP) from 2000 to 2001. The specific institution where they obtained this degree has not been mentioned.
