Marcos Sanz Grossón

Marcos Sanz Grossón currently holds the position of Head of Global Software at DE-CIX since October 2020 and serves as a Member of The Supervisory Board at Stichting Route Server Support (RSSF) from January 2023, focusing on the enhancement of the global Internet routing system. Marcos also contributes as Co-chair of the RIPE Open Source Working Group since November 2021. With a rich history at DENIC eG from 1999 to September 2020 in various roles including Head of Process Management and Software Engineering, Marcos previously chaired the ID4me Technical Competence Group and participated as an Advisory Council Member for the Internet Society from 2004 to 2020. Additional leadership experience includes chairing the CENTR Technical Working Group and membership in the Unicode Technical Committee. Educational credentials include studies at Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) and FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg.
