Roos van Tongerloo

Roos van Tongerloo is an experienced journalist currently serving as an eindredacteur and writer at De Correspondent since November 2022. Since January 2020, Roos has operated as a freelance journalist, actively developing this role since spring 2022. Previous experience includes editorial positions at Milieudefensie, VPRO Tegenlicht, and KRO-NCRV's Brandpunt+, among others, as well as writing and reporting for various media outlets. Roos began a career in journalism after earning a Master of Arts in New Media from the University of Amsterdam and a postdoctoral degree in journalism from Erasmus University Rotterdam. Additional earlier roles include a sales position at Libris Boekhandel and editorial tasks for Humanistische Omroep.
