Maduka de Silva

Maduka De Silva is currently working as the Lead Human Resources Business Partner at De La Rue since October 2022. Prior to this, from 2021 to 2022, they served as the Co-Founder of Therighttalent.net. Maduka has considerable experience at De La Rue, having worked as the Human Resources Manager in Sri Lanka from 2015 to 2021. Before joining De La Rue, they held the position of Head of Human Resources Development at Finlays from 2012 to 2015. Maduka also worked as a Senior Manager - Human Resources Management at CIC Holdings PLC from 2009 to 2012 and as a Manager - HR & Administration at Empire Teas Pvt Ltd from 2007 to 2009. In addition, they served as the Manager - HRM&D at LOLC in 2006, and held various HR roles at Dialog Axiata PLC from 2002 to 2006. Their career began at Union Bank of Colombo, where they worked as a Senior Customer Service Assistant and Trainee from 1996 to 1997 and 1995 to 1996 respectively.

Maduka De Silva completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Gloucestershire. This degree was conferred in 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a BComm degree in Management & HRM from Deakin University, which they completed from 1999 to 2002. Before enrolling at Deakin University, Maduka joined Holmesglen in 1998, where they pursued a Transfer degree program.

Additionally, Maduka obtained certifications in Mental Health First Aid from MHFA England® in November 2023 and became a Client Practitioner through Insights in February 2017.
