Emie Baylon

Sparked Center Coordinator at De La Salle Santiago Zobel School

Emie Baylon is an experienced educator with a focus on social studies and educational technology. Currently serving as the SPARKED Center Coordinator, Education Technology Mentor, Education Technology Coordinator, and Social Studies Faculty at De La Salle Santiago Zobel School since 2012, Emie previously held positions at St. Pedro Poveda College and Assumption College, San Lorenzo, as an Asian History Teacher and Faculty member, respectively. Initial teaching experience was gained as a High School Social Studies Teacher at Paref Woodrose School Inc. Emie's educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Social Studies Teacher Education from University of the Philippines Diliman, an MA in Asian Studies specializing in North East Asia, and an undergraduate degree in Social Sciences with a focus on the History and Economics of the Philippines. Additional studies included a fellowship on Korean Society and Culture at Sogang University.
