Sarah Brants has extensive experience in community development and training, currently serving as a Buurtwerker, project coordinator, and connector at De Sociale Maatschap since April 2022. Sarah's prior roles include freelance trainer, researcher, and organizational advisor for multiple organizations such as ASKV Steunpunt Vluchtelingen, Rode Kruis, and CARE since March 2016, as well as a community builder at Stichting Philadelphia Zorg. Previous international experience includes working as a development worker in Burkina Faso with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit and providing training and consulting services in Bolivia. Sarah has also held project management and advisory roles focused on multicultural projects and has a solid academic background with degrees from the University of Amsterdam and Universidad Complutense de Madrid, along with additional training in system thinking and instructional design.
