Fokke Obbema

Fokke Obbema is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience at de Volkskrant, where involvement spans from 1996 to the present, covering roles such as redacteur zingeving and boekenredacteur, as well as serving as correspondent for China/Europe and chief editor for the economy. Prior professional experience includes positions as correspondent in Paris and media editor at de Volkskrant during the earlier years. Obbema also held the role of press officer at Amnesty International between 1981 and 1984. Academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in International Journalism from City, University of London, a Master's degree in Law from University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne, and a Master of Law from the University of Amsterdam.
