Cindy Vermeire

Cindy Vermeire is an experienced leader in operations and digital management, currently serving as the Director of Distribution and Supply at De Watergroep since May 2022. Prior to this role, Cindy held positions as Operations Manager at Molymet Belgium NV and Oiltanking Stolthaven Antwerp NV, focusing on safety, operational discipline, and process improvement. With a long tenure at BASF from August 1997 to February 2019, Cindy excelled in roles such as Project Lead for Digital Operations Management, where digital strategies were developed to enhance safety and efficiency, and Site Coordinator for Process Management & Production Management, overseeing significant teams and lean six sigma projects. Cindy holds a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Ghent University, which underpins a robust career characterized by successful project management and operational excellence across various chemical production domains.
