Sijmen Schroevers

Sijmen Schroevers currently serves as the Head of Business Development and Business Developer at De Zwarte Hond since 2017, responsible for driving growth in the Rotterdam and Groningen branches and across the Dutch market through identifying opportunities and selecting suitable tenders. Prior experience includes roles at Gist as Account Manager and Commercial Coordinator, focusing on business expansion in Europe and managing all Lidl depots in the UK; a Customer Relations Specialist position at DHL, managing customer interactions and complex global shipments; and an Assistant Designer at plein06, contributing to various urban and landscape design projects. Sijmen holds a Master of Urbanism from the Rotterdamse Academie van Bouwkunst and a Bachelor in Urban and Regional Planning from Breda University of Applied Sciences, complemented by a degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from STC Jan Bakx in Rotterdam.
