Jenni Lightowlers

Jenni Lightowlers currently serves as the Executive Dean of the Faculty of Business and Law at Deakin University, a position held since May 2017. With a long-standing career in law, Jenni is the Founding Partner of the commercial law firm Francis Abourizk Lightowlers, established in 1993. Additional roles include Company Secretary for Audiology Australia and INAP Limited, where Jenni also acts as a Non-Executive Director. Previously, Jenni held various leadership positions at Deakin University, including Deputy Chancellor and chairing several committees. Educational qualifications include an Honorary Doctorate from Deakin University, LLB (Hons) and LLM from the University of Melbourne, and degrees in English, literature, psychology, and Indigenous studies from other institutions.
