David Parks

David has more than 30 years of public accounting experience, during which time he has performed a variety of audit, tax, and business consulting services for clients in multiple industries. Over the last 15 years, David has spent most of his professional time performing business valuations and related consulting and litigation support services. He has performed valuations and related services in a variety of contexts, including estate, gift, and income tax planning and reporting, marital dissolutions, shareholder transactions, and mergers and acquisitions. David currently spends most of his professional time serving as a senior wealth advisor for the firm’s affiliate, Dean Dorton Wealth Management.

David has valued companies engaged in the coal, oil and gas, construction, manufacturing, transportation, equine, healthcare, banking, and wholesale distribution industries. He has also valued a variety of retail establishments (including restaurants), service businesses, and holding companies owning real estate, marketable securities, closely-held stocks, and other assets. In addition, David provides various tax and consulting services to companies engaged in the construction industry.
