Tyler Friske, MD has significant work experience in the field of ophthalmology. Tyler is currently serving as the Chief Resident in Ophthalmology at the Dean McGee Eye Institute since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an Ophthalmology Resident at the same institute from June 2020. Before joining Dean McGee Eye Institute, Tyler worked as a Resident Physician at HealthONE from June 2019 to June 2020. Tyler also has experience with Baylor College of Medicine where they held various roles including Student Co-Chair of the Admissions Committee, Student Interviewer for the Admissions Interviewing Subcommittee, Student Mentor for the Peer Resource Network, and Gross Anatomy Tutor. During their time at Baylor College of Medicine, they also pursued their Medical Doctor degree as a candidate from July 2015 to May 2019.

Tyler Friske, MD completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering from Southern Methodist University. Tyler pursued further education at Baylor College of Medicine, where they earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with Honors.
