Emily Jones

Emily Jones has held a variety of roles since 2008. Emily began their career as a Studio Associate at Wine and Design in 2008. In 2011, they took on a Housing Development Intern role at Habitat for Humanity. In 2012, they held several roles including a Tutor Facilitator at New Orleans Science and Mathematics High School, a Seasonal Compliance Assistant at AFS-USA, Inc., and a Marketing Intern at Creative Forge Productions. That same year, Emily also began their role as Dean of Personalized Learning, K-4 at Crescent City Schools. Emily remained at Crescent City Schools until 2014, during which time they held roles as an Innovation Teacher and Personalized Learning Coordinator. In 2017, Emily began their role as Director of Innovation and Data Manager at KIPP New Orleans, and in 2020 they joined DeansList as a School Success Manager and School Success Associate.

Emily Jones received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Anthropology from the College of Charleston in 2012. Prior to that, they participated in Semester At Sea / ISE in 2011, studying Cultural Anthropology. Emily began their education in 2004 at Fauquier High School. Additionally, they hold a Master Educator certification from LEGO Education.
