Jamil Akili

Jamil Akili is the President of Oilfield Services and Managing Director of Woodlands Energy Services, having held these positions since February 2019. Additionally, Jamil serves as an Advisor for DEAP VISION and was a Co-Founder at CSL Capital Management, LP from April 2019 to June 2020. With extensive experience in the oil and gas sector, Jamil spent over two decades at Schlumberger, holding various senior roles including Director of New Ventures for the Middle East and General Manager for the Gulf Region. Jamil's academic background includes a Master of Science in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering from Penn State University and two Bachelor of Science degrees in Chemical Engineering and Biochemistry from the University of Iowa and Iowa State University, respectively.
