James Brookner

James Brookner has an extensive work experience spanning over 12 years. James began their career in 2008 as a Co-founder of Everyday Media Group. In 2010, they joined Accenture as a Consultant. James then moved to Station 12 in 2013, where they worked as an Investor and Venture Builder. In 2015, they joined VGC Partners as an Investor and Corporate Venture Fund Manager. In 2018, they switched roles to become an Investor and Venture Builder at Barclays. In 2021, they joined Blackfinch Ventures as a Director & Venture Partner. Currently, they are working as a Venturing Consultant at Ventured since 2022.

James Brookner has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Nottingham (2005-2008) and a Master of Science degree in Finance, Leadership and Management from the University of York (2019-2021). James also holds an ACCA certification.
