Melissa Proxenos

Melissa Proxenos currently serves as the Head of Technology at DEBTRAK UK LIMITED since September 2023 and is recognized as the Woman Leading Tech Engineering Winner 2024 at B&T. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Software Engineer at Honey Insurance, where responsibilities encompassed development, business analysis, testing, and support for the entire product suite using Node. Melissa also spent nearly nine years at Derivco, advancing from Software Developer level 2 to Senior Software Developer and Solutions Architect, leading projects on Personal Data compliance and GDPR. Previous positions include software development and team leadership roles at TransUnion, Infotech, Aristocrat Technologies, and DVT, with a focus on C# development and technical architecture. Melissa holds an IT Business Leadership degree from Tshwane University of Technology and has extensive training in music theory and performance.
