Victoria Stanage Dipwset

Victoria Stanage DipWSET has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Victoria currently holds the position of Events & Awards Director at Decanter, where they manage a growing events team and oversees international and UK events, as well as the Decanter World Wine Awards judging competition and Retailer Awards ceremony. Victoria is responsible for forecasting and managing budgets amounting to over £1,000,000 in revenue per year. Prior to this role, Victoria held various leadership positions at Decanter, including Head of Events & Awards and Head of UK Events and Awards, where they expanded the events team and developed new roles.

Before joining Decanter, Victoria worked as an International Wine Challenge staff member at William Reed Business Media Ltd. Their earlier experience includes working in the food and beverage hospitality industry at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, L.L.C. and Jack Fry's Restaurant, where they served as a Bar Manager, overseeing the selection and purchasing of bar products, curating the wine list, and creating innovative cocktail menus. Victoria also gained experience in catering events, serving, and bartending at Bristol Bar & Grille.

Victoria Stanage DipWSET has a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Business and Public Administration from the University of Louisville. Victoria also completed the Introductory course and examination in Wine and Spirits at The Court of Master Sommeliers. In addition, they have a Level 4 Diploma in Wine & Spirits from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust, which they earned between 2012 and 2015.
