Dewansh Bista

Dewansh Bista began their work experience in 2019 as a Software Engineering Intern at FoodChain. They then worked as a Computer Science Tutor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2020 to 2021. In 2022, Dewansh joined Comcast as a Software Engineer, where they developed internal tools for data management and worked with AWS, Databricks, Hadoop, Rest API's, Starburst Enterprise, and Oracle services. They then moved on to Decentrix Inc., where they currently work as a Software Engineer. Their responsibilities include working with Scala based Rest API's in the advertising space, breaking up a monolith application into microservices, supporting customers, and integrating customer data into the application product with the Data Science and Engineering teams.

Dewansh Bista completed their High School Diploma at McCallie School from 2014 to 2018. Afterwards, they attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2018 to 2021, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Data Science and another Bachelor of Science degree in History. In 2022, Dewansh enrolled at the University of Denver and is currently pursuing a Masters of Science degree in Data Science, which is expected to be completed in 2024.

In terms of additional certifications, Dewansh obtained several from LinkedIn. In October 2022, they completed the "Apache Spark Essential Training" and "Spark for Machine Learning & AI" courses. In April 2022, they acquired the certification for "Microservices: Design Patterns", and in March 2022, they obtained the certification for "Developing Your Emotional Intelligence".
