Alan Zhang

Zhang Yaolin (Alan) is an experienced legal professional and entrepreneur, currently serving as an Associate in Corporate and Securities at Dechert LLP since 2022. As the Founder and Chairman of Yale-NUS Global China Connection, Zhang has facilitated international networking among youth and organized significant events such as the ASEAN-China Case Competition. Prior roles include Associate at WongPartnership LLP focusing on China, Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions, and Business Development & Program Associate at Startups Greater Asia. Zhang has contributed to environmental sustainability research at Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies and led smart city projects as a Consultant at IBM. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Politics & Economics from Yale University and a Bachelor of Laws from the National University of Singapore.
