Sonu Gupta

Sonu Gupta is a data scientist with extensive experience in machine learning and natural language processing. Currently employed at Decision Spot since March 2023, Sonu previously held positions at Penn State University as a Graduate Teaching and Research Assistant from January 2021 to December 2022, where significant contributions included developing a Question-Answering system for privacy policies and creating a comprehensive corpus of international data privacy regulations. Prior experience includes a role at Info Edge India Ltd from May 2019 to December 2020, where Sonu built predictive models for a CV parser and earned a Collaboration and Ownership Award. Earlier work as a Research Associate at Precog @ IIITD involved analyzing fraudulent groups on Twitter and developing classification models. Sonu holds a Master of Science in Informatics from Penn State University, a Master of Technology in Computer Science from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Govt. Mahila Engineering College, Ajmer.
