Thomas Pitt has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and positions. Thomas began their career in 1989 as a Senior Internal Auditor at Jacobson Stores Inc, where they worked until 1996. Thomas then joined LifeCare Ambulance Service as a Senior Paramedic from 1996 to 1998. Thomas then transitioned to Albion College, serving as an Accounting Manager from 1998 to 2010. During this time, they also held the position of Secretary of the Board at the American Canoe Association from 2010 to 2012. Since 2010, Thomas has been employed at Decker Manufacturing, initially as the Controller/Assistant Secretary & Treasurer until 2023 when they became the Chief Financial Officer. Additionally, they have been affiliated with Delta Tau Delta Fraternity since 1991, holding the role of Division Vice President/Chapter Advisor until 2023. Overall, Thomas Pitt has had a successful career with expertise in finance, management, and advisory roles.
Thomas Pitt earned a Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt Certificate from Purdue University in 2010. Prior to that, they obtained an MBA in E-Commerce from the University of Phoenix between 2001 and 2003. Thomas completed their undergraduate studies at Albion College from 1984 to 1988, earning a BA in Econ/Mgt and Communication. Thomas'ssecondary education was completed at Holland High School.
