David Walker

David Walker has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years in the field of learning and transformation. Currently, they are the Chief Product Officer at Decoded, where they lead cross-functional teams to develop learner-focused digital learning products and services. Prior to this, they worked at QA Ltd in various roles, including Practice Director, Portfolio Director for Digital Transformation and Emerging Technologies, and Head of Emerging Technologies and Digital Transformation. In these roles, they led strategic approaches to digital transformation, worked with FTSE100 Bluechips and public sector organizations, and designed custom learning solutions. Before joining QA Ltd, David served as Principal Technologist at QA, where they were responsible for developing the training portfolio in web and mobile development. David also worked as a Senior .NET & Web Development Trainer at UKIT Training and as the Lead Trainer for Web Design & Development at Appropriate Learning. David started their career as a Lecturer at Bridgend College, where they constructed and delivered courses in computing and multimedia design, and led a team working on a course in collaboration with government bodies.

David Walker has a Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science from Aberystwyth University. David also holds a BA degree in Philosophy & Informatics from the University of Wales Lampeter. In addition to their formal education, David has obtained a certification in Product Manifesto from Product School.
