Keith Hooks has worked as a Mechanical Engineer since 1997, when they began at Motorola. In 2001, they moved to Hand Held Products as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, where they developed hand held bar code and image capture devices. From 2007 to 2013, they worked at Invue Security Products as a Product Development Engineer, developing devices for the secure display of products for the electronic retailer market. From 2013 to 2015, they were the Department Lead, Engineering & Design at Aerosport Modeling & Design, where they led the design department in the performance of plastic, sheet metal, and vacuum form component design, laser scanning and reverse engineering, and modeling and prototyping. Since 2015, they have been a Research Scientist - Mechanical Engineer at Battelle, and since 2020, they have been a Mechanical Engineer at Dedrone.
Keith Hooks attended the University of South Carolina from 1991 to 1995, where they obtained a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. Keith then attended the Georgia Institute of Technology from 1995 to 1997, where they obtained an M.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
