Kateri Shirley

Kateri Shirley, MBA, CFE has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Starting in 1992, they gained experience in accounting support at Savings Oil until 1997. Kateri then worked as an accountant at Business Environments from 1999 to 2001. Kateri joined Merritt Hawkins in 2001, where they held roles as a financial accounting manager and assistant controller until 2007. Kateri then moved to AMN Healthcare as a staff internal auditor until 2009. Kateri then served as the controller at The Medicus Firm from 2009 to 2019. Kateri continued their career at Behavioral Innovations as a controller from 2019 to 2022. Most recently, Kateri joined iDoc Telehealth Solutions as a financial controller from 2022 to 2023. Kateri is currently the VP of Finance at Deep Eddy Therapy.

Kateri Shirley, MBA, CFE has attained multiple qualifications and certifications throughout their education and career. Kateri began their academic journey by obtaining an Associate's degree in Management Information Systems from Itawamba Community College between 1990 and 1992. Kateri then pursued further education at Mississippi University for Women from 1997 to 1998, specializing in Management Information Systems. In 1998, Kateri expanded their knowledge by studying Management Information Systems, General at the University of Alabama at Birmingham for a year. Later, from 2007 to 2010, they attended the Naveen Jindal School of Management at UT Dallas and earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Continuing their education, they recently completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus in Accounting from Louisiana State University between 2019 and 2021. Kateri Shirley has additionally obtained several certifications, including Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) in 2019, and becoming a Notary Public for the State of Texas in March 2018. Kateri also holds the certification of Certified Storm Spotter, awarded by the National Weather Service at an unspecified time.
