Frode Garlid

Frode Garlid's work experience includes serving as the Chief Financial Officer at DeepOcean since March 2018. Prior to that, they were the Vice President Operations & Risk at National Oilwell Varco from April 2017 to March 2018. From March 2015 to April 2017, Garlid held the position of Chief Financial Officer & Chief of Staff at Fjords Processing, which is a portfolio company of Akastor ASA. Frode was also a Board of Director at OneSubsea Processing Asia Pacific Sdn from June 2012 to March 2016. Garlid's previous roles include Chairman of the Board at Bergen Engineering as, Member of the Board at Luster Mekaniske Industri AS and EAB Engineering AS, CFO at Framo Engineering Group AS, and Chairman of the Board at Sandsli Eiendom AS.

Frode Garlid completed an Executive Education program in the Schlumberger Advanced Finance Program at The Wharton School in 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Arts degree with Honours in Economics & Finance from the University of Aberdeen, which they attended from 1996 to 2001. In 1995, they completed an Associates degree in Law at the University of Bergen (UiB), and in 1992, they obtained an Examen Philosophicum in Philosophy from the same university.
