Richard Deranleau has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. From 1982 to 1987, they worked at Coopers & Lybrand, where they progressed from staff to supervisor in the audit department. Richard then joined Tandem Computers, Inc. in 1987 and held various positions in accounting and finance as the company's revenues grew. In 1992, they moved on to Polycom, where they served as Vice President of Finance and Treasurer, Vice President of Finance and Operations, International, and Controller, Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, Treasurer. During this time, they oversaw financial planning, analysis, treasury operations, and established financial shared service centers in Europe and Asia. In 2003, Richard joined Brocade Communications Systems, Inc. as VP Finance and CFO, and later as Vice President, Corporate Controller and Treasurer. Richard played a key role in the company's corporate restructuring project and oversaw its acquisition and integration activities. In 2012, Richard became the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Fujitsu America, where they were responsible for all financial processes and reporting. Richard then joined eASIC Corporation in 2014 as VP of Finance and Administration, CFO, overseeing the company's financial and administrative processes. Most recently, Richard is working as Chief Financial Officer at Kinara, Inc. since 2022. In addition to their roles at various companies, Richard has also worked as a self-employed Financial Business Consultant, providing executive-level consulting services to SaaS and technology companies. Their experience includes managing annual audits, driving annual operating plans, recruiting finance team members, and overseeing accounting and finance operations.
Richard Deranleau obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Iowa State University, where they studied from 1976 to 1980. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting at San Jose State University, completing their studies in 1982.
