Jonathan Heyne

Jonathan Heyne has a diverse work experience. Jonathan is currently a Venture Advisor at AI Fund, starting in December 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Chief Operating Officer at DeepLearning.AI starting in April 2022. From 2017, they have been a Faculty member at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. Jonathan was also a Member of NFX Guild starting in December 2016. Jonathan was the EVP of Business Development and Strategy at ThriveDX (formerly HackerU) from September 2021 to March 2022. Additionally, they served as the VP, General Manager of Data & Engineering Programs at Springboard from September 2017 to September 2021. Jonathan founded and served as the CEO of Mentive from May 2015 to July 2017. Prior to that, they were the Head of Business Development at Gornitzky & Co., a top commercial law firm in Israel, from September 2010 to June 2013. Jonathan also co-founded The Psychometric Studies Center, Inc. in 2009 and served as its Co-Founder until March 2013. Lastly, Jonathan has experience as the CEO of Tel Aviv University's Student Union from September 2007 to June 2009, where they served on the board of 3 subsidiaries.

Jonathan Heyne obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree in Law from Tel Aviv University. Jonathan also completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science from the same institution. Additionally, they hold a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.

In terms of certifications, Jonathan obtained the "Certified attorney" certification from the Israel Bar Association in 2010. Jonathan received the "Checkpoint Certified System Administrator (CCSA)" certification from Checkpoint and the "Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE)" certification from Microsoft, both in 2003. Jonathan also acquired the "Entrepreneurship 101: Who is your customer?" certification from edX in April 2015.
