Honnesh Rohmetra

Honnesh Rohmetra is a Deep Learning Engineer at Deeplite since June 2021, focusing on efficient deep learning and model optimization. Responsibilities include developing end-to-end computer vision solutions for various clients, involving tasks such as architectural design, data acquisition, model training, and deployment on custom hardware. Previous experience includes a role as a Deep Learning Research Intern at Intel Labs, working at the intersection of deep learning and computer graphics, and an internship at Vimaan Robotics, where work involved CNN-based barcode reading and object detection for warehouse automation. At Sally Robotics, Honnesh was part of a research group developing autonomous vehicles. Additional roles include positions at Nanyang Technological University and UST Global, contributing to computer vision research and next-generation store development. Honnesh received a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and a Master of Science in Chemistry from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
