Nikolai Yakovenko

Nikolai Yakovenko has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Nikolai currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at DeepNFTValue since June 2022. Previously, they worked as a Research Team Lead at Point72 from November 2019 to January 2022. Before that, they served as an Applied Deep Learning Researcher at NVIDIA from March 2017 to November 2019. Nikolai also worked as a Software Engineer at Twitter from January 2016 to February 2017. In 2014, they founded PokerPoker, LLC and developed the #1 Open Face Chinese Poker game. Additionally, they worked as a Software Engineer at Quantifind from October 2013 to April 2014. Nikolai was also a Founding hacker at Chadwick from 2009 to 2012. Nikolai'searly career includes a role as a Software Engineer at Google from August 2005 to October 2008, where they worked on the Google ranking function and NLP/classification problems.

Nikolai Yakovenko completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Maryland from the year 2000 to 2004. In the same year, they also attended a student summer program at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, focusing on Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering. Nikolai further pursued their education at Columbia Engineering in 2005 and obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Science.
