Emlyn Whittick

Emlyn Whittick is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at DeepRoots, focusing on scaling agroforestry to enhance soil health and biodiversity while addressing climate change. Previously, Emlyn served as an Entrepreneur in Residence at ZINC, developing mission-driven companies to combat social challenges. As the Chief Technology Officer at Furrend, Emlyn led a team to create a web3 pet-focused video-sharing platform. In addition, Emlyn held roles such as Lead Full Stack Developer at Oculo, Vice President of Engineering at FundFlow, and Principal Software Engineer at Elsevier, where Emlyn managed technology solutions and developed big data applications. Early career experiences included positions at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, IBM, and Paradox IT Ltd, complemented by an MEng in Computer Science from the University of Warwick.
