Maria I. Kárla

Maria I. Kárla has a diverse work experience in various roles within the maritime industry. Maria I. currently works as a Project Manager at DeepSea Technologies, where they are responsible for managing projects, coordinating teams, building relationships with partners, and ensuring the smooth operation of the department. Prior to this, they worked at P.S.A. MARINE GROUP as a Naval Architect & Marine Engineer / Services Coordinator, where their responsibilities included coordinating attendances for surveys, preparing reports, and assisting as a Hazmat Expert. Maria I. also has experience as a Project Engineer at Blue Planet shipping and as a Technical Assistant at GTS MARINE SERVICES.

Maria I. Kárla completed their education in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering at the University of West Attica from 2016 to 2022. Maria I. obtained additional certifications including a Certificate of proficiency in English from the University of Michigan in May 2018, and a Foundations of Project Management certification from Coursera in June 2023. Maria I. also became an Associate Member of SNAME in January 2023.
