Amir Shrestha

Amir Shrestha has extensive experience in software engineering, particularly in the medical field. Amir currently works as a Staff Software Engineer at DeepSight Technology since May 2023. Prior to that, they were a Staff Software Engineer at Johnson & Johnson from July 2019 to April 2023.

From March 2018 to June 2019, Amir worked at Stryker as a Staff Software Engineer. Before that, they held the position of Senior Software Engineer from January 2015 to February 2018, and Software Developer from March 2013 to December 2014.

Amir's earliest work experience is as a Senior Software Engineer at LEXI Co., Ltd. from September 2005 to April 2012. In this role, they led and participated in research, design, and development of medical software systems, focusing on areas such as system analysis and design, coding, programming, testing, maintenance, and upgrades.

Amir Shrestha holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Maharishi International University, which they obtained from 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Engineering from Tribhuvan University between the years 2000 and 2004. Additionally, Amir has obtained several certifications in various areas such as software architecture, cloud architecture, and machine learning. These certifications were obtained from reputable institutions including LinkedIn and Coursera, with the most recent certifications being completed in 2022.
