Yihang Li began their work experience in 2013 as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Tsinghua University, where they designed and fabricated various silicon-based devices and sensors. In 2014, they worked as a Visiting Summer Intern at Harvard University, focusing on designing high-quality lithium niobate nanobeam photonic crystal cavities and integrated devices. In 2015, Yihang joined Washington University in St. Louis as a Research Assistant until 2021, where they conducted research in an unspecified field. In 2020, they interned as an Engineer Intern at DeepSight Technology. Currently, Yihang works at DeepSight Technology as a Senior Engineer and Technical Lead in Sensing Technologies since 2021.
Yihang Li acquired their education in a chronological order. Starting in the year 2005 up until 2011, Li attended Beijing National Day School where they obtained a High School diploma. Following that, from 2011 to 2015, they enrolled at Tsinghua University and successfully completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree with a focus on Electronic Engineering - Optoelectronics. Lastly, Li pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Electrical Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis, which spanned from 2015 to 2021.
