Senior ML Researcher And Engineer / Team Lead at Deeptale.ai

Maciej Śliwowski has a diverse work experience in the field of machine learning and research. Maciej is currently working at Deeptale.ai as a Senior ML researcher and engineer, also serving as the team lead. Prior to this, they were a Board Member and Researcher at the Polish National Institute for Machine Learning, and was involved in various research projects. Maciej also worked as a Researcher and Phd Candidate at the Commissariat a l'Energie Atomique et aux Energies Alternatives, where they focused on developing AI systems for brain-computer interfaces. Additionally, Maciej worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at SonarHome and as a Researcher at the University of Warsaw, where they focused on signal processing and ML analysis of EEG data. Maciej also gained experience as a Data Scientist at Nethone, where they developed Python libraries and trained ML models for fraud prevention. Furthermore, Maciej worked as a Researcher at the Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology, where they explored the applications of machine learning in EEG neurofeedback. Maciej began their career as an Intern (Data Scientist) at DaftCode, where they worked on building and training ML models for fraud prevention.

Maciej Śliwowski began their education in 2013 by pursuing a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Applications of Physics in Biology and Medicine, with a focus on Neuroinformatics, at the University of Warsaw. Maciej completed this program in 2016.

In 2016, Maciej furthered their education by enrolling in the University of Warsaw for a Master of Science (MSc) degree. Their field of study during this period remained Applications of Physics in Biology and Medicine, with an emphasis on Neuroinformatics. Maciej successfully obtained their MSc in 2018.

After completing their master's degree, Maciej went on to pursue a higher level of education at the University Grenoble Alpes. Starting in 2019, they embarked on a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program in Artificial Intelligence. Maciej is expected to complete this program in 2022.
