Shane McGee

Shane McGee is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in privacy and compliance within the technology and cybersecurity sectors. Currently serving as General Counsel and Chief Privacy Officer at Deepwatch, Shane has previously held key roles, including General Counsel and Chief Privacy Officer at COFENSE, and Chief Privacy Officer at FireEye, Inc., where a global privacy program was established. Shane was also instrumental in the acquisition and integration of Mandiant Corporation, serving as General Counsel during its sale to FireEye for over $1 billion. With a background as a venture partner at Okeanos and Riverbend Capital, along with a history of advising various technology companies at Hogan & Hartson and SNR Denton, Shane holds a J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law and a BA from Bowling Green State University.
