Dr. Kari Murphy

Dr. Kari Murphy, CETL, is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Deer Park ISD since July 1999. Prior to this role, Dr. Murphy held positions such as Supervisor of Instructional Technology and Middle School Teacher at Clear Creek ISD and Support Manager at Information Plus. With a Doctorate of Education from University of Houston-Clear Lake, a Master’s Degree in Educational Mid-Management, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, Dr. Murphy has a strong educational background. Additionally, Dr. Kari has experience as a Chair at Texas Education Technology Leaders and has previously taught at various school districts such as Spring ISD and Dickinson ISD.
