Bruce Sander

Bruce Sander is a dedicated education professional and community leader with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as a member of the Board of Directors for the LIFE Long Island Federation of Teachers and as President of the Deer Park Teachers' Association, Bruce represents nearly 400 educators while negotiating contracts with the school district. As President of Stony Brook Concerned Homeowners LTD since 2013, Bruce has led efforts to combat illegal college boarding houses, growing the organization to nearly 1,400 members. Bruce is also the Head Coach of the Dark Falcons Pumpkin Chucking Team, guiding high school students in competitive engineering projects. Additionally, Bruce has been teaching Architectural Drawing and Design, Computer Animation, and Engineering Design at Deer Park School District since 2000, utilizing advanced software such as AutoCAD Revit and MAYA to enhance student learning.
