Allison Quinones

Allison Quinones is an experienced music educator currently serving as an Elementary Music Teacher at Deerfield Public Schools District 109 since August 2019, where instruction includes Orff instruments, recorders, ukulele, and drums for K-5th grade students, along with directing a 4th and 5th grade choir. Previous positions include teaching at Lake Zurich CUSD 95 and Zion Elementary School District 6, where a diverse student population was engaged through various music curricula, including Orff and Quaver. Allison also gained experience in private piano and voice instruction at Veritas Music and Learning Center and has held roles as a summer camp counselor and student teacher in different school settings. Allison possesses a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Miami University and a Master's degree in Music Teacher Education from VanderCook College of Music.
