Rudra Pandey

Rudra Pandey has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries and roles. Rudra is currently serving as the Founder and Executive Chairman at Deerhold Ltd., where they provide data analytics, software development, and IT services to clients globally. In addition to their role at Deerhold Ltd., Rudra Pandey is also the Chairman of Hamro Patro, Inc.

Prior to this, Rudra Pandey held multiple positions at Deerwalk Inc. From 2017 to 2020, they served as the Founder and Executive Chairman, overseeing the senior executive team and collaborating with business development, operation, and technology teams. Before that, they were the Founder and CEO from 2011 to 2017, where they worked closely with the offshore team based in Kathmandu and led the overall operations and technology development. Rudra also served as the Founder and President from 2010 to 2011.

Before their time at Deerwalk Inc., Rudra Pandey worked at Verisk Health as the Chief Operating Officer from 2009 to 2010, and earlier as the EVP and CTO from 2009. Rudra was responsible for managing operations and technology at the company. Prior to that, they co-founded and served as the CTO at D2Hawkeye, Inc. for eight years. During their tenure, they played a key role in building an industry-leading healthcare data analytics product called D2Explorer and led various teams in product development, research, analytics, and operations.

Rudra Pandey also has experience as the Founder and Lead Consultant at American Open Enterprises, a consulting firm specializing in healthcare data management and system architecture. Additionally, they worked as a System Consultant at Fleet Bank, leading system migration activities and integrating systems following their acquisition of Shawmut Bank. Rudra started their career as the Founder and Executive Director at GECS Pvt. Ltd. in Nepal and later worked as an Information System Consultant for the World Bank's Irrigation Sector Project in Nepal.

Rudra Pandey pursued their education in a chronological order. Rudra began their educational journey by attending Padmoday High School from 1978 to 1980, where they completed their SLC degree. After completing their secondary education, they enrolled in Tri-Chandra College from 1981 to 1983, obtaining an Intermediate in Science (+2) degree. Continuing their academic pursuits, Rudra then attended Mehran University of Engineering and Technology from 1984 to 1988, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Electronics (B.E.). Finally, they pursued higher education at Northeastern University from 1996 to 2001, completing their Ph.D. in Economics.
