Viet-Anh Tran

Viet-Anh TRAN serves as Research Scientist Manager at Deezer since January 2015, where responsibilities include leading the User Modeling team and conducting research on user-music relationships. Prior roles at Deezer include Research Scientist focused on multimodal representation learning for music recommendation and Data Scientist developing large-scale recommendation engines. Viet-Anh’s experience also includes a position as Speech Research Scientist at VinAI Research, where research centered on noise suppression for smartphones, and prior positions involved R&D in NLP at Fimalac, mobile engineering at Immanens, and various research roles at LIMSI CNRS and GIPSA-Lab. Viet-Anh holds a PhD in Signal, Image, Speech and Telecommunication from Institut Polytechnique de Grenoble, a Master of Science from Paris-Sud University, and an Engineer's degree from Hanoi University of Science and Technology.
