Andy Parsons, Chartered FCSI

Andy Parsons, Chartered FCSI, has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Andy started their career at Equitable Life / HBOS / BoSIS in 1987, where they held various roles until 2006. At The Share Centre, from 2006 to 2022, they served as Head of Investments and later transitioned to the role of Head of Product Proposition. In these positions, they were responsible for designing and evolving investment product propositions, aligning them with corporate objectives, and optimizing internal systems and processes. Andy also acted as a Co Fund Manager, overseeing the investment management and decisions of the Fund of Funds proposition, which grew to approximately £145m in assets under management. Most recently, they worked at Chalfont Investment Consultants as the Head of Investment Research from 2022 to 2023. Currently, they are employed as an Insight Manager (Funds & DFM) at Defaqto, starting in 2023.

Andy Parsons, Chartered FCSI, completed an MBA Essentials program at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in November 2020. Previously, they obtained a Diploma in Investment Compliance from The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (The CISI) in June 2010 and acquired certification in Private Client Investment Advice & Management from the same institution in June 2009. Additionally, Andy has pursued several professional certifications, including Excel for Banking Professionals, Finance Foundations: Risk Management, Product Management: Building a Product Roadmap, Smart Thinking: Overcoming Complexity, Product Innovation for Product Managers, and Project Management Simplified, all obtained on LinkedIn. Andy obtained these qualifications in various months in 2022, with the most recent being in March 2022.
