Patrick Sangster is an experienced professional in environmental health and safety, currently serving as the Owner of Eastern Passage Safety & Training Services and an Environmental Health & Safety Officer at Defence Research and Development Canada. Acting as a Sailing Instructor and Learning Facilitator for Sail Canada since 2009, Patrick develops skills in youth sailors and maintains instructional standards. Previously, Patrick held the role of Cadet Instructor Cadre Officer, training youth in various Cadet organizations, and worked as a Safety Advisor at Dexter Construction, overseeing health and safety inspections. Additional roles include Commanding Officer at the Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps, and On the Water Coordinator at HMCS ACADIA, where Patrick managed small boat training operations. Patrick holds a Certificate with Honours in Occupational Health & Safety from Nova Scotia Community College and completed a Firefighter Pre-Employment Program at Nova Scotia Firefighters School.
