Amanda Eisen has a wealth of experience in the nonprofit sector, with a focus on foundation and corporate relations. Amanda began their career as an Administrative Assistant at Public Education Network in 1996 and then moved on to become an Associate Director of Development at Women & Philanthropy. From there, they held the position of Director of Foundation & Corporate Giving at Prospect Park Alliance before becoming a Foundation and Corporate Relations Officer at The Wilderness Society. In 2013, they joined SOS Children's Villages - USA as the Director of Corporate Partnerships, where they successfully raised over $2 million per year from corporate partners and foundations. Amanda's most recent role is as Director of Foundation and Corporate Relations at Defenders of Wildlife, a position they began in 2015.
Amanda Eisen attended Springbrook High School from 1988 to 1992, where they obtained their high school diploma. After graduating from high school, they then went on to attend Vassar College from 1992 to 1996. During their time at Vassar College, Amanda earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English.
In addition to their formal education, Amanda has also obtained certifications in Coaching Employees through Difficult Situations and Coaching Skills for Leaders and Managers. These certifications were obtained from LinkedIn in June 2020.
