Ricardo Coronado Avella

Ricardo Coronado Avella has extensive experience in disaster management and risk assessment, currently serving as a member of the UNDAC team for the United Nations since April 2019. In addition to this role, Ricardo has been the head of the Group for Prevention and Comprehensive Action at the Colombian Civil Defense since April 2011. Ricardo holds a Master's degree in Risk Management and Development from Escuela de Ingenieros, completed between 2014 and 2016, and a bachelor's degree from Universidad Militar Nueva Granada, obtained from 2007 to 2011.
