Elijah Light

Elijah Light is a seasoned Senior Video Producer at Defense Media Activity since July 2017, focusing on initiatives for the Office of Public Affairs for the Secretary of Defense. With extensive experience as a Freelance Cinematographer and Photographer since October 2002, Elijah previously managed the Digital & Video Production department at CoreCivic from August 2011 to September 2016, where original content was produced for various platforms. Early career experiences include a Production Assistant Intern role at WDEF-TV in 2004 and service as a Military Police Officer in the US Army from 1999 to 2003. Elijah holds a diploma in Cinema Production from the Nashville Film Institute and has additional education from Maine Media.
