Jonathan Bukowski

Jonathan Bukowski is an experienced professional currently serving as a Country Director at the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy, focusing on Middle East Policy. With a background as a Program Analyst at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency, Jonathan has been involved in project and program management aimed at addressing Nuclear, WMD, and Emerging Threats. Jonathan also has a long-standing commitment to the United States Army Reserve, holding multiple roles including Intelligence Analyst and Battalion Plans Officer. Prior experience includes a desk officer position for the Middle East and North Africa at the Department of Defense and an internship with the FBI. Jonathan's educational background includes a Master of Arts in Middle East Studies from Johns Hopkins SAIS and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Virginia Military Institute, complemented by a study abroad experience in Jordan.
