Mike Vitali

Mike Vitali is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in legislative affairs and strategic communications within the defense sector. Currently serving as the Chief of Legislative Affairs at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency since April 2020, Mike leads the Legislative Affairs Team, preparing senior leaders for congressional engagements and fostering positive relationships with key stakeholders. Previous roles include Deputy Director for the F-35 Lightning II Strategic Communications Cell at American Electronics, Senior Legislative and Communications Advisor for the Office of the Secretary of Defense, and various leadership positions within the Navy, including Commanding Officer and Executive Officer. Mike holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Purdue University and a Master of Arts in Education and Instruction from Trident University International.
