Sam Askew

Sam Askew is an experienced leader in defense logistics and acquisition management, currently serving as the Chief of the Nuclear Logistics Operations Division at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) since April 2018. With a strong background in program management, Askew oversees the development and management of multiple information systems and leads diverse teams across various locations. Previous roles include program manager responsibilities for significant Counter Improvised Explosive Device initiatives and serving as an inspector general and operations officer in the US Army. Academically, Askew holds advanced degrees in business administration and aerospace management, complemented by military training in national security leadership and program management.
